Natural mink: warm brown tone with chocolate marks. Tip a nose, a small pillow of paws - brown.
Honey mink: warm tawny -brown tone with chocolate-brown marks. Tip a nose, a small pillow of paws - brown.
Mink champagne: warm beige tone with light brown marks. Tip a nose and a small pillow of paws of light brown color with pink.
Blue mink: soft blue or bluish-gray tone with light blue or light grey marks. Tip a nose and a small pillow of paws bluish-gray.
Platinum mink: soft grey tone with marks casting by silver. Tip a nose lilac, small pillows of paws pink.
These five colours make the basic recognized colour Tonkinese. There are still tortoise variations, but they can be exposed only without award of titles, as experimental colour.
At the balanced diet care of wool Tonkinese is very simple. Everything that is necessary is often comb (not plastic) and a massage brush. The bath before an exhibition will remove from bran from a wool surplus of fat, and silk rag or a slice of suede will add to her shine.
Tonkinese kittens are born more light colour, than their parents, usually marks are visible only on tip ears and lobe a nose. But within several days colour it is shown. As at Siamese, with the years at Tonkinese cats the wool darkens. As a rule, kittens are very cheerful, in a week at them eyes open. In litter it happens up to six kittens.
